She is also a photographer, 'artrepreneur’ and award-winning poet whose writing, performance, and contribution to the poetry community has been recognized in Philadelphia, Baltimore and beyond. Rebecca is the founder and former host of several open mic events in the Baltimore and DC area. She now enjoys writing, performance, production, and commissioned composition. Rebecca has published four CDs, two books of original poetry and a children's book. Her books "Not Without Black Women" and "Mario Goes to the Museum are available at rebeccadupas.com. Rebecca has appeared on Centric, Fox 5, and most recently on C- Span, PBS News, WEAA and in The Washington Post alongside President Clinton.
