BIOGRAPHY

Tony Ryan is a British author, based in Hong Kong, whose previous jobs include police officer, English teacher and magazine editor.

It has always been his dream to have a novel published, so after catching the bug with his debut fiction novel, Ramus, there will surely be more to follow.

Please feel free to leave honest and unbiased reviews on his book. He only wants to improve his style in order to engage readers with the stories currently waiting to escape his mind. You can also find him on LinkedIn, but be careful to message the correct Tony Ryan! There are a few namesakes out there!

He is a strong advocate of mental health awareness and hopes to assist in reducing the stigma against those suffering with any MH condition.

      • I love books and always wanted to write my own. However, I thought it would be too difficult and time consuming. One day, I just decided to start a story that I had always had the introduction to (car broken down in the rain near a mysterious old house). That quickly became my first novel and it was much less difficult than I expected.

      • Not specifically, but a lot of RAMUS was inspired by my ten years in the police and I incorporated some elements of real people.
