Well, about three weeks ago, some moron moderator on Twitter/X decided that I was 'engaged in inauthentic behavior/platform manipulation/spam'.😦
Let's see: since 2018 on that platform, all I did was...
1) make 0-3 posts a day about Psiarch: Rising with links to here and/or Goodreads reviews, as well as appropriate #hashtags used by all authors on that platform (and I did this at a much lower frequency than most authors);
2) make occasional posts announcing any new Psiarch's Hideout entry (with a link to said entry herein and appropriate #hashtags used by all authors and/or bloggers on that platform);
3) repost 0-5 #writerslift posts a day and participating in them by replying with a post about my book (with same links as above), as invited by the original posters and like all other authors do on that platform;
4) reply a "thank you" to anyone that reposted any of my posts/replies of my book, like a lot of other authors do on that platform, and courtesy/gratitude-repost one of their posts about their own books (if they had any);
5) repost every now and then astronomy, science or humorous posts I found interesting (like all users do on that platform, albeit I did this at a much lower frequency than most users);
6) engage every now and then with other authors/users by replying to any of their (non-book) posts I found interesting (again, like all users do on that platform, albeit I did it at a much lower frequency than most users);
7) rarely post anything 'opinion' and/or personal, and certainly never did anything meant for 'engagement/platform manipulation' (e.g. asking some general/generic question to other authors at large about habits, genres, style, etc.).
And yet, someway, somehow, all of this low-to-mid daily activity transformed in November-December 2024 into 'inauthentic behavior/platform manipulation/spam' in the eyes of those clown moderators... with not only the permanent suspension of my account, but also denying my first appeal and not even bothering to answer my second one!😡
This is ridiculous, if not outright insane. Why those users/authors that post way more often than I do every day, if not actually do 'engagement manipulation', have never been suspended? Why my account? Was it because I had 'only' 5000+ followers, instead of having 10000+ like said others?😟
These X/Twitter mods are nothing but incompetent, cretinous imbeciles IMHO.😠
In any event... all this to announce that I had no choice but to move on to Bluesky! I hope to see you over there some day soon... 😎👍
