Welcome to Juniper Grove!
I’m Jaidis Shaw, the author of the YA paranormal romance novel Destiny Awaits. I also have multiple short stories published in a variety of genres including horror, western and suspense. My most recent short story is “A Mother’s Instinct” and is featured in Another Beautiful Nightmare: Women in Horror by CHBB Publishing.
I am an advocate for those living with Epilepsy as I was diagnosed with it when I turned eighteen years old. I try to bring as much awareness to the condition as possible to help remove the stigma about it. I have also been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia – a chronic pain disorder.
I currently reside in South Carolina with my three beautiful daughters. When I’m not writing, I can often be found streaming horror survival games or first-person shooters on Twitch.
A question I get asked often is why I named my site Juniper Grove. The answer is simple! Juniper Grove is the town in which most of my characters live. Though they haven’t met each other, and their stories are different, they are connected in the small way of living in the same town. We are all special and unique and we all have a story to tell. Feel free to come visit and stay awhile.
