      • I feel there are a few misconceptions about new adult. One being that the genre is purely contemporary romance or woman's fiction set in a college setting. However, looking into definitions and research into the genre, the new adult genre can be combined with all genres and subgenres, including science fiction, urban fiction, horror, paranormal, dystopia, historical, etc. The common elements that do make a novel new adult are: an age range between 18 and 25; characters are being exposed to new situations and introspective challenges; and characters are often new to the responsibilities of adulthood.

      • Currently, I have 22 novel/series concepts lined up and waiting to be written. My dream goal is to see all those novel/series concepts, plus whatever other concepts that come along, become published. If at all possible, I don't want to even leave one novel undone before I die.
