I would live my life with more authenticity. Through downtime and some illnesses, I had to take a look at my life and know many of the decisions I made were made out of fear. Fear of being rejected, fear of failing and other reasons. I am in the season of life where accepting myself as I am and not being who others expect me to be is freeing. I think perhaps that is why my characters are who they are, especially Granny and Jezabelle. Though they are over the top there is some truth in why they are the way they are.
