Hello,
I’m Raven Kennedy, a fellow author. I admire your work and wanted to connect. What’s been the most rewarding part of your writing journey so far?
Hi Raven! That's a great question, because there is so much I enjoy about the process. Being the OCD poster child, I think the researching is the most rewarding part. I actually enjoy the times where I have a plot snag and have to dig to get it resolved. More than once, I've woken up at 3 am wondering "when were buttons first used?" or as in my newest book K9 Mine, "what food seasonings were common in Bronze Age Ireland?" I've started adding a glossary of interesting things I've learned while researching the book. I'm not trying to write historical text, but I do strive for accuracy, even when I bend it a little. What part of writing do you enjoy the most?
