      • Hi Karl, thanks so much—really appreciate you reaching out.

Lately, I’ve been writing both fiction and nonfiction, circling themes like trauma, identity, and personal transformation. A lot of my inspiration comes from real-life experiences—my own and those around me. I’m drawn to the tough questions we often avoid: how pain shapes us, how faith carries us, and how systems affect everyday people.

With each book, I try to blend raw honesty with deeper meaning—whether it’s a psychological thriller or a guide to healing toxic family dynamics. I guess my approach is to write what feels urgent and real, and to offer readers something they can carry with them after the last page.

Would love to hear more about what you’re working on too!

      • Hi Aylen, thank you—that means a lot.

Behind the Badge was a tough but necessary book to write. It was inspired by real stories I’ve come across—people affected by abuse of power, broken systems, and the silence that often surrounds it all. I wanted to peel back the layers and show what really happens behind closed doors, without sugarcoating it.

I approached it with a mix of research, personal reflection, and a lot of empathy. It’s not just about exposing truth—it’s about giving voice to those who often go unheard.

        Really appreciate you asking.
