      • What I'd really like to do is to tell people it is possible to reach your dreams. I wanted to be a writer since I was nine years old. And I had no idea how to get there. I started setting small goals, learning, studying, doing and now I've revised my goals to continue to learn and grow in my craft.

    • Have you ever incorporated something that happened to you in real life into your novels?

      • Yes! I find life is a rich field for inspiration and ideas. In The Swiss Mishap, Lainey and her roommate drag a recliner up four flights of stairs. When I lived in Switzerland, my roommate and I hauled a recliner up four flights of stairs. Lainey at least has the help of a hot guy.

      • I wish I could go back and tell myself to learn the basics of storytelling. I think Pixar and other writers who consistently turn out great stories have a secret and it's something I wish I would've learned five years ago. I would be much further ahead in my writing skills. Also, keep learning skills. You can never know too much about writing.
