      • Publishing my first book was a great learning process. Now, I feel like I have a great system in place as well as a freedom to write what I want, what I feel my readers really need, and not what I should.

      • My depression inspired me to start writing at the age of twelve as a way of coping. Then, I rediscovered my love of writing after running into a friend that was publishing her first book. I began the process of learning what it took to write and publish but stalled after a publisher told me I was a "nobody." My grandma brought my dream back to life when she asked me to write about all the good in her life. It was a 15 year span from planning that first book to publishing a solo project. Now, I'm not sure I'll ever stop!
