A good cover and a great title are critical! They are what bring a reader to a book. I have been very fortunate with my titles. The only one I had to change was Meadowlark. It started life as Buckboard Bride but my editor didn't think anyone would know what a buckboard was. I'm not convinced of that, but I do think Meadowlark is a better title!
