Patience. You need an abundance of patience when it comes to learning the craft, writing, editing, publishing, and marketing. Don't forgo your health, values, and precious time with loved ones for the sake of writing. Also, other writer's methods and publishing route may or may not work for you. At the end of the day though the best advice I can give is to embrace YOUR unique writing journey, experiment, and don't give up because your story and your voice matters!
My schedule can be chaotic so even if I try to plan ahead, I also have to constantly adapt to find time. Sometimes I have hours to write in and other times here and there a moment, but once I have a story and/or project in mind then I will utilize every available minute.
Yes, and I appreciate them all, because the good reviews make my day and the bad reviews teach me how to improve. It's an indescribable feeling when a Reader just happens upon one of my stories and then takes the time to buy, read, and sometimes even leave an unsolicited and honest review. I also love those special moments when I come across a review and a reader has taken the time to name even just one of the wonderful Author's I've worked with in an anthology, and share what they liked most about that Author's story. To those who have read my stories, whether or not you left a review, I wish to thank you ever so much for your support!
