      • I'd rewrite my debut novel, Wicked Deception. Maybe.

I'm completing this series now, with the final book in the trilogy, Wicked Fire. That one, and the one preceding it, Wicked Truth, are completely different from the first one. There's more magic, for one thing. The second and third are less dark in tone, and frankly, the last two are better books. I enjoy the characters more. They're more robust and have more emotional involvement with the reader.

But when I think about it, I probably won't rewrite that book. I might instead call it a prequel that introduces certain characters, but the books are so different, I don't think it can truly be called a trilogy. Maybe a duet with a prequel instead.

      • No. Not once in my childhood did I ever see myself becoming a published author. I was a math and science geek, and worked in those fields until my retirement.
