      • I would definitely become more involved in creative endeavors, such as writing and painting. But years ago, it was much harder to get work published. Nowadays, self-publishing has not only made the process easier, but it has opened the process up to everyone.

      • The joke writing process can be difficult, because it is often an iterative process. Before I "finalize" a joke, I often perform it in front of a live audience to get their reaction. I use those performances to make constructive edits that improve, or make the joke funier.

      • I enjoy the writing process, and telling my jokes in front of live audiences. But then I thought that writing my jokes in a book, with great and funny illustrations, was a fantastic way to give worldwide audiences a chance to read and enjoy my material.

      • For a comedy book, a great cover is extremely important. It has to grab the readers attention, and most of all, it must be funny. I also think this strategy is true for any book.
