I do read them - the good and the bad - and use them as guidelines to better myself.
But, and this is the crux of the matter, reviews are hard to come by and I wish there were more people out there who are willing to leave reviews. Even short one-liners are welcome.
Writer's block is real. It can affect us all. But, there are many other things an author needs to do but write, so when the words don't flow, I concentrate on drawing maps for my books, writing newsletters, scheduling Twitter posts, designing graphics, and doing general marketing. Pretty much anything that is book related, but not actual writing. The muse will return in time.
I don't see it that way. For me, it is an escape from reality. It is a place where I can step away from the world and just be. I love every aspect of the writing process, from world building to marketing. Love what you do, believe in what you do, and the best of you will shine through.
