The Color-State Piece

The Color‑State Piece is a raw, atmospheric collection that treats poetry like a survival map. Moving through memory, rebellion, night‑world moments, and the quiet violence of being alive, these pieces trace the fault lines between who we were, who we became, and what it costs to stay awake in a numbing world. Joe writes with punk‑born honesty and a sharp eye for the shadows most people avoid, building myth out of real life and refusing to look away from the hard parts. This is a book about scars, defiance, and the strange beauty that flickers in the wreckage — a debut carved straight from the marrow.
