K. K. Harris is an Arkansas native with a passion for creating life-like tales of romance and drama. In 2013, her dream to share her imagination with the world became a reality. As a black romance author, she incorporates several different genres into the mix. A happy mixture of Erykah Badu and Devin The Dude is how she best describes her style. With her imagination and love for music, the stories take on a life of its own. Being in love with love is the main inspiration behind each tale. With over twenty titles under her belt, she looks forward to shattering the glass ceiling.

      • I think I have evolved as well as my characters. Though I love romance, I am more practical that diversity is needed sometimes to give the story a little pop. In the beginning, I was writing exactly how I spoke and didn't care who liked it. Over the years, my ways of thinking have changed. Growth.

      • I read every new review that comes in and over the years I have developed a thick skin. It is quite clear to me now that everyone is not going to like or support what you have to offer.

      • I wasn't finding the book that I wanted to read so I wrote it. All of the romance novels that I read all sounded the same, I wanted some hood love missed with general romance and a little erotica thrown into the mix.
