Tracilyn George was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Canada. She began writing at the age of twelve. With encouragement from teachers throughout her junior high and high school years, she tried her hand at several genres. Tracilyn finds inspiration from the world around her.

  - I have experienced writer's block early on in my writing career. Despite not having ideas, I kept writing. It didn't matter if I was simply writing my name over and over. As long as I had pen to paper, I knew the wall would eventually crumble.

  - My father read to me when I was younger and I wanted to have my name on a printed book. I've been writing since I was 12 so 38 years.

  - Whatever you do, don't give up!! You'll have people telling you it's a non-nonsensical dream and you won't go anywhere. Even your own family will try to discourage you. You know you have talent so believe in yourself and keep going.
