BIOGRAPHY

Angela Fincham is an award-winning children's book author from the charming state of Virginia. With a deep passion for storytelling and a profound understanding of the imagination and wonder of young minds, Angela has captivated readers of all ages through her enchanting tales. As a dedicated mother of three sons, she drew inspiration from her own experiences in crafting narratives that resonate with children.

Her journey as an author began in 2014 with the publication of her debut children's book, "Not Even A. Mouse." Unfortunately, the book became unavailable in 2017 due to unforeseen circumstances with the publisher. Motivated by her youngest son's journey into the world of reading, Angela embarked on a self-publishing endeavor, creating easy reader books centered around her son and his beloved dogs. These books kindled her son's interest in reading and became cherished tales that he eagerly shared with family and friends. Building upon the success of her self-published works, Angela took it upon herself to republish her debut book and continued to produce an array of captivating children's literature since.

Angela's imaginative spirit shines through in her enchanting works, "A Dandelion Named Daisy" and "A Seashell's Journey," both of which transport young readers into magical worlds filled with life lessons and gentle wisdom. In a departure from her usual style, she also delved into the realm of spooky stories with her collection titled "Are You Scared Yet?," skillfully weaving suspense and thrills for older children seeking an exhilarating read.

With each new release, Angela Fincham continues to captivate young readers, instilling a love for reading and fostering their imagination. Her books have become cherished companions on the literary journeys of countless children, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and minds. As a devoted mother, passionate writer, and dedicated advocate for children's literacy, Angela Fincham's contributions to the world of children's literature are immeasurable. Her stories not only entertain but also inspire; encouraging young minds to dream, explore, and embrace the magic that lies within the pages of a book.

Adorable and empowering story that encourages kids to embrace who they are — even if that means standing out in a crowd of ghosts. Boo, the brave little ghost, shows us that being different is something to celebrate, not hide. The rhyming story is playful and engaging, and the message of confidence, self-expression, and individuality shines through every page. It’s the kind of book that makes kids feel seen and proud to be themselves. The visuals are whimsical and fun, and the story has just the right mix of charm and heart. Whether it’s for a bedtime read, a classroom circle, or a boost of self-love, You Do You Boo! delivers with style. — B&N Review

      • Random! I have notes everywhere...in notebooks, on post-its and in my phone but when I sit down to write I get hyper focused and will lose track of all time and reality. I also usually have my cat on my shoulder because he insists!

      • When my youngest son was learning to read, he didn't like the books being sent home for him to practice with which made it homework difficult for the both of us. So I self-published some easy readers about him and his dogs; he loved it and would read to anyone who would listen...including the dogs. Since then, my books have still followed his reading levels and interests, it's like my books are growing up with him.
