BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in the Asian deserts, my passion for storytelling began there. The exotic rhythms of Arabic and Persian music and the lovely patterns of their poetry were my inspiration. I wrote my first novel when I was twelve years old.

It was my first attempt at storytelling, even if it was never published. My journey as a writer has always been more personal than professional. I love everything Middle Eastern, especially the desert. My stories are based on my personal experiences, having travelled to numerous Middle Eastern countries and resided in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.
