In 2016, C. C. Mitchell submitted her first ten-minute script to the Mendocino College Festival of New Plays and received the privilege of seeing her play produced along with ten others. Breaking the Fog is C. C. Mitchell’s first published novel. She has a Master of Arts in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in Fiction and resides in Northern California with her fiancée, chihuahua mutt, a yowling cat, and twenty cows.

      • I don't really believe in "Writer's Block" in the usual sense of the term. I like to call it "Writer's Dilemma" because we can always write something. We are never "blocked" from writing but we may have a hard time deciding what to put on the page next in order to get from point A to point B in our stories. The best way to overcome it is to write, no matter what it is.
