      • I have always been a scribbler. Right from childhood but never took it up seriously until one day my kid brought up a poem that I wrote when I was 10 years old and he started asking for more of my writing works. He is my inspiration to become an Author.

      • I would like to give up Mental limitations. Sometimes, I am so tied-up looking for inspiration and time just passes by. I am sure many of us face this too. Especially when you are shifting gears and writing on different genres. One way out, is to believe Inspiration is all around and we just need to start putting pen to paper.

      • Adapting as per the content.

I have written on many different areas. From writing, essays in school to writing poems, from writing articles for news column to writing company policies, from blogging to writing books, short stories or novels, Fiction or non-fiction, each one is different. I learnt that we need to adapt different styles based on the topic. For example when writing newspaper article the presentation is totally different from writing a book. Particularly when you are writing in different languages. One needs to do a lot of homework for appropriate words to bring out the essence of the content. However, regardless of whatever topic we write, it is important to retain the author's unique style of content presentation.

      • Personally, there is nothing like reading a physical book and I think it will continue to exist as reader's favorite. That said, Kindle and e-books have just lifted up the barriers to both authors and readers alike and brought them under one umbrella. There are several benefits of e-publishing and the the list can go on. I love how technology is helping authors add more formats, from paperbacks to e-books and audio books. More options, more sales :))

      • To understand their behavior. That said, when writing fiction, the character is created with a pre-conceived idea and how it navigates through the story and that makes it easy.
