BIOGRAPHY
Creg Effs is a Christian young man who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on November 19, 1977. He currently resides in St. Thomas, Jamaica where he serves as Chaiman of the Board of Flemming’s Basic School, Chairman of the Parish Board of Early Childhood Institutions, a Director of the Community Management Committee of the Paul Bogle Vocational Institute, Corresponding Sponsor of the Power of Faith Basic School and a member of the Lions Club of St. Thomas. He has been a firefighter for the past 20 years and has been in network marketing since 2012, where he has had some success. Creg is also a Motivational Speaker, Workshop Facilitator, and youth mentor. He has received many awards and recognitions for his dedication to service. He enjoys writing poetry, and short stories, which he has been writing since his high school years, and published his debut anthology, "Once, Twice, Three Times a Charm", in February 2020 and later also self-published his second poetry anthology "So Many Things Mean Love" in September 2020.
He has also had his poetry published in The Cambridge-Hall Poetry Journal and 2020: The Year in Poetry.
His third and most recent book "It Begins In The Mind Empower Your Thoughts" a collection of motivational thoughts was published on May 18, 2021 through his brand Creginspires, which is also the title of his YouTube channel, through which he inspires others with motivational messages.
Creg enjoys going to church, reading, writing, singing, public speaking, hiking, travelling, and helping people. He is a member of the Professional Writers Alliance and myAWAI (American Writers & Artists Institute). You can find his poetry pieces on allpoetry.com, mirakee.com.
