BIOGRAPHY

Jana Buchmann is a children's author and proud mom of three with a love of storytelling. She loves to spend time with her three daughters, often drawing from their imaginative and fantasy worlds to inspire her storylines. Her books are characterized by beautiful, adorable illustrations and simple, uncomplicated storytelling. She enjoys combining unique ideas with magic and imagination to create memorable stories that bring tons of fun and smiles to every child who reads them. Jana believes that any child can learn to love reading if they are given the right book.

When not writing, Jana enjoys reading, traveling, being creative, and spending time with her three wonderful daughters. She also volunteers for an organization that reads and streams children's books for kids in a hospital.

  - The cover is the first impression and is very important. People decide on the cover if they will read your book description or not. Same goes for the title. It should tell the reader already a bit about the book.

  - I started writing books back in March because I needed a creative outlet in these uncertain times. It wasn't easy with 3 little kids at home and a business to run from home as well but I made it! And there are three other books coming out in the next months, I think it's fair to say I've found my passion!
