Arbitrary and Capricious is a legal term and came up in the context of the book.

My ideal setting is to write in my small study while listening to ambient music.

I did not start writing until I transitioned from practicing law into a life of writing, painting and making experimental short films.

I experience procrastination more than writer's block.

I have one at the moment and I am about halfway through the first draft of a new novel.
This is the darkest novel that I have ever written. I wanted to break out of my comfort zone. The protagonist is a young attorney who suffers from some severe psychological issues.
