I was born in Albania where I spent the first 25 years of my life under a communist regime. Feeling trapped everyday and not being able to speak my mind was my life for many years.
Even though it took me 12 years to achieve my dream, I was determine to find the freedom and nothing could imprison my mind from the impossible.

I made my way to America in 1989 and through my story I want to share with the world the values, struggles, failures, and my journey to freedom.
