      • Indirectly. Instead of specific events, I focus more on the emotions aroused by various situations. As I am writing a scene, I think about similar circumstances I have experienced and how I felt. In one scene, my heroine is deeply embarrassed and blushes painfully. The description of that blush comes directly from a moment in my own life.

      • I think the e-readers are marvelous tools for readers, especially for travel. One can have a whole library at one's fingertips where ever one goes. They are not a replacement for print books, and they enhance reading and buying opportunities. One of my favorite features is the ability to change the font size, making it easier to read.

      • I loved to read as a child; in fact, I can't remember not being able to read. I used to make books for my dolls to read. I wrote stories and poems for them. Books were a passion for me, and writing was an extension of that.
