A prolific and award winning author, Maria was an ICU Nurse and Psychologist. A Nursing Clinical Instructor, handled Nursing Research as her field of expertise and Management. Accomplished two decades of experience as educator with a demonstrated history of mentoring preschool to graduate school. An engaging and funny speaker, has been a frequent guest lecturer in colleges and universities within the National Capital Region with several invitations in Europe, the Middle east and china.

Her writing skill demonstrates a meticulous and methodical expression. An accomplished writer at the age of 24, She established her niche writing articles about children, childhood development and the family. Her advocacy is to raise the awareness of the well being of abandoned, neglected and abused children through her published written articles and research. Her contribution has been acclaimed by international journals worldwide. She is a Licensed Professional Teacher promoting Restorative Education to facilitate the holistic development of the child. A member of the Rotary Club International, Mental Wellness Society Global Community, she enjoys participating in social service.

A seasoned artist joined several Art exhibits and performed in several concerts. She supports the significance of creative art as an effective approach to imaginative thinking, problem solving and positive channelling of behaviour and skills. Art is a vehicle for expression and an essential tool for healing. She has mentored and sponsored music students.

Maria is a consistent awardee for social commitment since grade school.
