BIOGRAPHY

Married for 50 years to my one and only, we've traveled all over the country and a good bit of the world during our time together. I think this gives me a broad background from which to create my stories.

Besides being a writer, I am also a musician, Reiki practitioner, breast cancer survivor, and martial artist. You will find some of these elements in the stories I write.

I currently have eight fiction books published in the fantasy/paranormal romance genre, and one non-fiction. Search for Gambler's Folly, Esperance (the two series). I also write stand alone books under the name Sultonna Nadine, with Master of the Fleet and Whiskey Jug Genie. Check Sultonna's profile for details.

    - I was inspired to write by my love for fantasy and the need to create emotional, transformative stories. I'm passionate about characters who grow through pain, and the support from readers keeps me motivated every day.
      I write in the genres of fantasy, romantic fantasy, dark fantasy, and paranormal romance, often drawing inspiration from mythology. My stories blend emotional depth, slow-burn romance, and rich, immersive worlds.

  - The original idea was actually my husband's. We found an old whiskey jug in an outbuilding when we bought our property. It has been collecting dust in a back room since then. One day he noticed it and had read or seen something recently about genies. The idea popped into his head about a redneck genie trapped in a whiskey jug. He thought it would make a fun story and shared the idea with me. And I let my imagination take it from there.
    
    One of the things I like to do in my writing is bring bits of the paranormal or magical into real life, as if they are a normal part of life. Having a genie so far out of touch with the world seemed like a fun idea.
    
    I also have two series written as Mellie Miller and another stand alone by Sultonna. The Gambler's Folly series features shifters on a fantasy vacation world. The Esperance series features paranormal abilities of various sorts on a more rustic world. Both series are fantasy romance.
    
    Sultonna has another book in editing set in an alternate reality of Victorian England. Working title Lady Calloway, paranormal abilities also come into play.
    
    I hope to give people a break from the stress of their current reality and help them look for the magic around them in this world we live in.

      You have a diverse range of works across different genres and series. After editing is complete, what's your plan for Lady Calloway? Do you have a release date in mind or a strategy for sharing it with your audience?
