An avid reader from an early age, Marion writes mainly in the historical fiction/romance genre, although her reading tastes vary greatly. Through her writing Marion hopes to instill in her readers a desire to learn more about the history of where they live and/or were born while reliving the romance of times gone by.

Marion has been an invited speaker to local middle schools during Literacy Week as well as to library associations. As a mentor to middle school classes she has helped students to value the arts of reading and writing. Several classes have produced books and dedicated them to Marion.

Marion's interests are reading (of course), traveling with her husband, and being entertained by their cats - Miss Taffy and Mr. Macho. She and her husband currently reside in Central Florida. Their cats provide plenty of company and excitement.
