      • I think science fiction/fantasy books should be most adopted for children in school. These are the years where self-expression and creativity are encouraged most. This could be a pathway for children to easily see beyond the world presented before them.

      • I think both are important, but just as in writing, authors won't get it perfect each time. I learn as I write more and designing your bookcover with an artist is a learning process as well. You are trying to give a hint of what the book is about in both without telling the potential reader too much. As for book titles, just as your writing, let it naturally inform you. There were times where I was two-thirds or nearly complete my book manuscripts before I started thinking of a title. It reflected what I wanted and that I considered most important.

      • Writer's block is real. It can be subtle, like not being able to see how a character you think you know would react in a specific instance or you just have to take a complete break from writing. Better to allow it than to force yourself to write and not be content with what you have produced.

      • Writing genuinely. To write not to fit within a trend or primarily to please others and to be realistic in your portrayal of your characters, but doing one's best to be wholly your own.
