About I have a love for foreign languages. I'm fluent in Spanish; and I know some French, Papua New Guinea Tok Pisin, Russian, Hebrew, Greek, etc. My favorite books are sci-fi and fantasy fiction, followed by history and historical fiction. Genealogy, and DNA makes interesting reading/study, too!
I grew up on my family's farm just down the road from where Cynthia Smith Roemer's family lived, and we all attended Blooming Grove Christian Church, just a quarter-mile to the north. I graduated from Carlinville High School in 1975, and Lincoln Christian College (now LCU) in 1979. I've been a missionary in the jungles of Papua New Guinea (2 yrs.) and Argentina (9 yrs.) I was married with 5 children, but divorced in 2004, and I have remained single since. My whole life, I have preached the gospel, which I continue to do for a small country church, the Westervelt Christian Church, about 8 miles west-south-west of Findlay, Illinois. I now have 6 grandchildren, with two more expected to be born in Sept. and Oct., 2022.
