BIOGRAPHY

Ruth M. Fuchs is the author of the "Erkül Bwaroo investigates" fantasy crime series. The series centres around an elf detective. One with impeccable manners, a razor-sharp mind, and a moustache that is almost as flamboyant as his French accent, who solves criminal cases inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tales.

Ruth M. Fuchs sees her novels in the tradition of the "Jules Poiret Series" by Frank Howell Evans or Agatha Christie's books.

As a longtime lover of mysteries – especially classic British detective stories – I soon had the idea to combine fantasy with the crime genre - and I always think there should be a generous dash of humour in there as well.

That's when Erkül Bwaroo stepped onto the page.
