BIOGRAPHY

Self-published author of The Last Calico Cat, and Arthur Untold. Although currently...Shandelia has pulled Arthur Untold to do some massive rewrites (from a standalone to a three-book series). The re-release will be coming later this year, and updates can be found on her substack newsletter (shandeliarivers.substack.com)!

She has always wanted to be a writer but never really knew how to make it happen - the confidence, the tools, the anything. Then one day, an important university professor (may she rest in peace) assigned an exercise in surrealist writing, which helped Shandelia finally relax and just...write stuff.

She still struggles with a lot of social anxiety, however, and has no idea how to market herself or her work. One day, she'll figure it out! But for now: she puts a lot of heart and soul into her writing and hopes that someone out there will be able to enjoy it and find meaning from it.
