A Minnesota author, speaker, and blogger. Ginny Graham's recent work "Wisteria" Rekindling faith and purpose is available on Amazon. Ginny writes Christian contemporary women’s fiction. She crafts stories about the difficulties women encounter when transitioning into singlehood. Women who persevere through overwhelming challenges. Women whose faith soars when they find purpose in life. As a widow, Ginny knew no other widows who could mentor and guide her through grief and sorrow. In her fictional works, she created characters who face the trials of widowhood. Writing was therapeutic. A passion was ignited for Ginny to help women in similar situations. The author’s story focuses on three widows and their journey of self-reinvention.
During Ginny’s husband’s thirteen-year cancer battle, she believed in God’s sovereignty. Ginny and Bob’s prayer remained, “may He be glorified by our lives.” Bob’s sudden death left her feeling lost and adrift. The feeling of being blindsided remained, even when she thought she was emotionally prepared for the tragedy ahead. Through it all, Ginny’s eagerness to write women’s fiction intensified and her motivation to minister to women grew stronger.
Bequeathed a meat processing business as a widow, Ginny knows firsthand the challenge of being a widowed businesswoman. She fashions her story through the eyes of a widow. Ginny’s degree in business administration and a career in sales and marketing uniquely prepared her to create stories about career women. Interest in writing from a young age prompted her to take advantage of every opportunity to write.
Ginny belongs to Minnesota Christian Writer’s Guild, American Christian Fiction Writers, Jerry Jenkins’ Novel Blueprint, and Speaking 101.
She values the love and support of her two sons, two daughters-in-law, and nine grandchildren. Her hobbies include hiking, knitting, gardening, reading, horseback riding, and watercolor painting. A pug named Bear enlivens her home in Pine Island, Minnesota.
