"Cat's Paw" begins with the bombing of BEA Flight 284 in 1967. The circumstances and truth of its loss are investigated 12 years after-the-fact by a reporter, Ron Hatch. His quest for the truth leads him to discover the real reason behind the event, which puts him in the crosshairs of the CIA, MI5, and MI6. In truth, the actual records concerning this event have been sealed by the British Government until 2040. The theme of the novel is—governments will stop at nothing to preserve their existence.
