For my part, lately I've been very intrigued by novels that have stories-within-stories. I'm working on something right now that weaves a few threads like this together, and I'm having fun with it - but 'm having to experiment to get the right balance and flow!
I am always deeply energized by the first spark of an idea for a new story. The series of "what ifs" that it leads to can be exhilarating. I also love those moments when the clock seems to disappear and your fingers are flying over the keyboard trying to keep up with your thoughts - it doesn't happen every day, but when it does it's a great feeling! (I guess I just name two favourite things...)
My intention in writing this book was to give writers METHOD, MOMENTUM and MOTIVATION as they write their novels. I'm curious which three words others would pick!
