• They decided to board a train for a short section of the journey in order to escape both the police and the gang. They crossed over several lines of track to reach the platform. A few brave commuters were spread throughout the filthy, graffiti-riddled coffin-on-rails. Ally held onto both handguns underneath her jacket. They had to sit in forced silence while jarring noises echoed through the rattling carriage. The lights would cut off to pitch black then flicker back to life.
