“A complex web of interconnected events, similar to Gone Girl or A Time to Kill keeps readers engaged. Deranged may be Netti's eeriest thriller yet.” –Timothy Gene Sojka, the author of #1 Thrillers Payback Jack and Politikill
Maddy Reynolds fulfills a commitment she made to her father at his graveside when she was twelve. “I’ll become a detective just like you, Dad. I promise.” She doesn’t realize her father’s murderer will one day return for her. When she finally lands a detective job in an Upstate New York town, young girls show up dead. The kids are just an appetizer for the serial killer, Cupid. Maddy is the main course.
As she struggles to unravel the mystery of the latest missing child, she discovers Cupid’s identity and starts on a collision course with the maniac. The clock ticks away precious time as she tries to save the girl’s life.
DERANGED is the prequel in the Maddy Reynold’s series. The title of the series is MADDY’S PLEDGE. Books two through four are THE GLADES, THE LEDGER, and PIECES.
