BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Olapeju Simoyan (a.k.a. The Doctor Writer and The Doctor Singer) is an addiction medicine physician who strongly believes in bridging the gap between science and art. She has combined her writing and photography to present scientific information in easy-to-read formats in “The Amazing World of Butterflies” and “Giraffes Are Amazing.” Her writing covers various genres and appeals to a broad audience. Her books include "I Played My Best for Him", which tells the stories behind several Christmas carols; “Living Foolproof -Wisdom for Daily Living,” a devotional, and “Girls Become Doctors and Much More,” an academic memoir which includes profiles of several women physicians from around the world.
