About this book
So. Dinosaurs (Terrible Lizards). Just what do we know about them?
They roamed the Earth for, like, millions of years, then all died off! What...!?! No fair! Can you imagine how cool it would be to see a brachiosaurus or velociraptor? Or maybe a quetzlcoatlus?
What about a tyrannosaurus rex, the most famous dinosaur ever! The lion may be the “king of the beasts,” but the T-Rex was king of the dinosaurs!
Luckily, you have me! I’m here to show you some of the more interesting dinosaurs. I’ll tell you what their names mean, how big they were, where they lived, when they lived, and what they ate.
I drew some quirky pictures! I even made a few dad jokes!
So, why not take off your shoes, and “set a spell” whilst I tell you about these fascinating reptiles?
Also, with few exceptions, there were no dinosaurs that swam or flew, but where’s the fun in that? So, I’ve thrown in some prehistoric beasts you may have thought were dinosaurs, as a bonus.
A brief note about the sources: there is little-to-no agreement between websites (unless they flat-out copy one another). Some rely on older facts. Some use different translations, others use different pronunciations.
And do not get me started on the pictures!
Speaking of the pictures, another brief note about the colors of the dinosaurs: nobody knows what colors dinosaurs were! For all we know, they were paisley, checkered, or even plaid! With this in mind, I tried to make my dinosaurs pretty colors. (No plaid!) (but maybe if I’d found a Scottish dinosaur...?!)
Just enjoy!
