Scipio is a ghost.No passport.
No fingerprints.
No past.
His profession requires him to become other people—and to disappear without a trace.
His latest assignment appears impossible.
To place an ordinary young woman upon the throne of England.
Standing in his way are thirty-six people.
Every one of them is a legitimate heir to the British Crown.
As unexplained deaths ripple through Britain, Scotland Yard Inspector Kendrick Lawless races to connect murders that seem to have no relationship to one another.
Meanwhile, Ciana—a charming young woman who has no ambition beyond living her own life—finds herself unknowingly caught in a conspiracy reaching into the highest levels of society.
As the body count rises, the question is no longer who is killing members of the royal succession...
...but why.
Brilliantly plotted and rich with unforgettable characters, Henry IX blends suspense, mystery, humor, and political intrigue into a page-turning thriller that asks one chilling question:
How far would someone go to rewrite history?
