Wherever Alex Bailey goes, trouble follows. Even in paradise.
Retired attorney Alex Bailey has traded courtrooms for coastlines. This week, all she wants is to finish her quilting project, enjoy Henrietta’s muffins, and survive the island’s Christmas in July gift swap. But when a priceless botanical hybrid disappears, Alex can’t ignore the evidence or the fact that the thief is still on the island.
With just a week until the cruise ship arrives and a very short suspect list, Alex and Kibbles must unwrap the truth before someone gets away with more than just muffins.
Mistletoe, Mutts & Muffins is a festive, closed-island cozy mystery packed with holiday cheer amidst canine chaos. If you like clever whodunits, found-family stories, and a dog with better instincts than most detectives, you’ll love Kathryn Mykel’s sun-soaked holiday caper.
