BIOGRAPHY Amber Vilhauer is an author, entrepreneur, and mother who has spent more than two decades helping authors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders bring meaningful ideas into the world. She is the co-author of What Nature Teaches Us: A Book About Being the Light, written with her nine-year-old son, Clay, after a year of conversations inspired by their time together in nature.
Amber is the founder and CEO of NGNG Enterprises—No Guts, No Glory—and has built her career around helping others feel seen, heard, and valued. Through What Nature Teaches Us and the broader Choose the Light movement, Amber and Clay are now encouraging children and adults to slow down, reconnect with nature and one another, and recognize the light already within them. Their 10,000 Book Mission is working to put the book into the hands of children through schools, hospitals, and youth organizations nationwide.
