World One
by Timothy CooperBook Overview
WORLD ONE is the story of nuclear war with a happy ending. In the aftermath of nuclear holocaust, C.J. Jones is confronted by human dogs who lay siege to his home at the base of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington. It's there he attempts to subdue them, tame them, resolute in his opposition to their violence, as he bears in mind Thomas Jefferson's famous quotation that rings the hall: I have sworn upon the alter of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. WORLD ONE is the saga of one man's struggle to end the dark forces of war and human cruelty. It records one small but meaningful victory for the lights of civilization.
