As the writer of this book, my favorite scenes are the ones where the whole camp is playing a giant game of capture-the-flag, and then the thunderstorm happens. The kids have teamed up but things don't go as planned. This scene feels to me just like it did when I was a camper and got to play games like this that spanned the whole camp property - it was so much fun and gave us so much independence!
