In this second book of the God Chronicles trilogy Thomas, God’s last prophet, commences his search for Lucifer on his own. Thomas realizes if he can stop Lucifer from creating the antichrist, he can stop Armageddon. He seeks help from religious organizations, but is turned down. Imagine telling the Pope or any religious leader that you are God’s last prophet and you need their help to stop Lucifer– good luck! Thomas is attacked by demons, Dark Gypsies, and is even confronted by Lucifer himself. He almost loses his life on multiple occasions. He begins to have premonitions. Some come true and others do not. Thomas doesn’t know if they are a gift from God or a trick created by Lucifer. He finally begins to develop incredible powers, but they are like wild magic. His powers come and go. He cannot seem to control them. In time Thomas meets up with a young genius able to analyze data with unheard of accuracy, but there is always a problem– isn’t there? The genius has social issues and is very difficult to talk with because he can only discuss things as probabilities. Thinking they have found Lucifer, Thomas and his new partner walk into a trap. In order to escape the ambush the young genius allows himself to become possessed by a very strong fallen angel. To see if this odd plan is a horrible mistake read The One Path.
