The resident natives of the Amazon forest believe that these river dolphins have special powers, with the abilities to turn into humans. There are many myths of the river dolphins, like one myth of a river dolphin turning into a man and getting a woman pregnant and then returning to the sea. The other myth of the river dolphins is that they are shape shifters, with the ability to turn into human beings at will.
