On December 20, 2003, a US Air Force C-5 Cargo plane carrying 96 passengers on their way home for Christmas Leave was hit by a surface-to-air missile outside of Balad, Iraq.
Three months later, the only survivor, Major David Allan, wakes up from a coma at the Walter Reed Medical Center. With his wife, Sherry at his side, looking at least ten years younger, David slowly begins to realize that he woke up in the year 1991.
As time rolls along and the nineties are just as he remembered them to be, David knows a lot more than anyone around him, including the World Series winners, Super Bowl winners, and which investments to make. Taking advantage of this knowledge, he opens a new account under an assumed name.
Major Allan also remembers other major events approaching...Hurricane Andrew in 1992, the Somalian raid in 1993, and the day of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.
Scott Meehan takes readers on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it when Major Allan faces the choice to try and stop the horrific events in Oklahoma City.
