Jim's Revenge – Andrew R Williams
Much to Tommy's disapproval, (Jim's son) Jim Godwin wants a part-time job because he finds retirement boring and wants social interaction.
Despite Tommy's objections, Jim eventually takes a lowly position at Slobend, Fleecem and Skinnem. He's taken on as "can-lad" and general "gofer".
Unfortunately for Jim, he realises he's now working in a highly dysfunctional organisation where binge drinking and office sex are commonplace.
Worse, Jim recognises Flin Rheingold and Paul Tupal; as a sideline; they are local drug pushers.
Not wishing Jim to report their activities, Rheingold and Tupal do their best to bully Jim into resigning, but he sticks it out.
Eventually, Jim tell Ian, his grandson about the office bullying. In turn, Ian tells Gerry Fustrum about what is happening. Fustrum is a computer wizard and is no stranger to the Dark Web.
Fulstrum hates bullies and has a dislike of drug dealers. Once recruited, Fulstrum sets about engineering Jim's Revenge.
Money is taken from Marjory Fleecen's bank account to fund "the revenge" From that moment onwards, things start to happen. Two of the Roman enactment society that works with Jim are locked in an unheated church hall “freezing their nuts off” because they are only wearing short Roman kilts. Fleecem's racehorse is knobbled. There are high-speed car chases, and there is a gunfight in Chester. What else could happen?
